Meet Heaven Strothers, Owner of Terra Tovela, LLC
Being an owner of Terra Tovela has Heaven in “aww” on the daily. When working with a wide range of people in the food/wine/event industry, with multiple local farmers, a passionate team of Terra Tovela staff, and beautiful authentic venues, she is able to create something uniquely magical for every event. Heaven’s creativity and care for each plate starts in the kitchen, and from there it comes to life in that moment. Heaven is all about offering flavorful, colorful, farm fresh food, along with doing her part to be sustainable in the process for every meal.
Heaven has been a business owner and has worn many hats throughout her years but being in the food and wine industry she has found her true inner match. Heaven began as a server years ago in hopes to learn what the food industry was really about. Never did she think she’d find her true passion and fall in love with something so spectacular and engaging. She left her first event inspired and hasn’t stopped since coming up with ways to improve the industry as she sees it. Quicky learning the ropes in becoming a lead for the front of the house and growing into the bartending realm of things grabbing ahold of fun and new recipes making delicious and beautifully decorated drinks. This led to learning more and diving deep into the business side becoming a coordinator, lead coordinator, hiring, and understanding the importance of connection with clients, venues, and the community as a whole. Heaven took over what was previously known as Della Terra and rebranded making Terra Tovela what it is today in early 2024. She learned from one of the best in the culinary industry when it came to pairing wines with the Terra Tovela menu and her imagination has bloomed. She has the understanding of the importance of presentation and has hit the ground running believing the future is bright.
Heaven’s other passion is motivating others to find their voice. She is a speaker for several non-profit organizations and has helped change laws for the better in Washington state for survivors of sexual and domestic assault. Most recently, Heaven became a board member for another non-profit in hopes to make change and provide a safe haven for vulnerable children with food, shelter, and medical needs being met.
Being a mother of five children, who are now mostly all adults, has given her the know-how to juggle many things yet still fulfill her passions in helping her community. Her goal in life is to “be good”, “do good”, but most importantly to “be the good”. Having Terra Tovela a sustainable catering business and going out in reaching those who need to know they’re not alone is just that. Everything Heaven does is with passion, resilience, and true understanding. She loves what she does and does what she loves, and looks forward to meeting more future couples, corporations, and being a part of special sentimental moments in ones’ lives.

Meaning “from the earth with anew of elegance,” Terra Tovela is a full-service, farm-to-table caterer serving Snohomish County, the Eastside, and Greater Seattle Area. We offer the true local & seasonal dining experience, paired with warm hospitality for groups of all sizes.
Our chefs stay true to the philosophy of using the freshest ingredients available from the local harvest, resulting in better tasting and better-for-you food that benefits the environment and the local economy. We source many of our ingredients from within the community from local farms and producers, many of which are located right down the road from our kitchen in Kirkland.
Our mission is to provide delicious opportunities to enjoy real, local, from-scratch food around the table with loved ones, paired with warm, authentic hospitality, while impacting our local economy, community and the environment at large.
