For our owner, Heaven Strothers, the mission of Terra Tovela has always been about more than just food — it’s about people. This year, Heaven took her first journey to Ethiopia to work directly with organizations supporting local children, and the experience became a life-changing reminder of the power of compassion, connection, and community. Inspired by the resilience she witnessed and the impact of hands-on support, Heaven has committed to making this an annual mission, returning each year to help provide children with the resources and care they need to thrive. As a mother of five, her passion for protecting and uplifting the next generation is at the heart of this initiative, and she is dedicated to using Terra Tovela as a platform for meaningful change. As the business continues to grow here in Monroe, so too will its ability to give back and support children across the world.
